Join Kathleen V. Jameson, Ph.D., President & CEO of The Mint Museum, for an intimate afternoon of conversation with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Secretary Albright shares her thoughts on the exquisite pin collection and how she, the first female Secretary of State, was able to use the expressive power of jewelry to convey her diplomatic messages.

*Satellite location is composed of arranged seating in the Robert Haywood Morrison Atrium at Mint Museum Uptown. Ticket holders at this location receive a discounted ticket price and will watch a live feed of the program projected onto 2 large TVs. Satellite-location ticket holders are eligible for the book signing event as time is permitted.

Copies of "Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewelry Box" and "Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948" are available for purchase in both museum shops (Uptown and Randolph) and will be avialable for purchase on July 14, 2012 in the Atrium of Mint Museum Uptown.

The Honorable Secretary Madeleine Albright will be available to sign books for program guests as time is available.
