Salsa: a Latin dance form with origins from Cuban Son (sound) and Afro-Cuban dance (specifically Afro-Cuban rumba)
Bachata and Merengue: genres of music that originated in the Dominican Republic and spread to other parts of Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
Music and Dance: a great way to bring together various cultures from North and South Carolina who love to dance, including ballroom and dance schools, clubs, and fitness programs!!

*This is a collaboration with ArtSí Charlotte, a community initiative supporting Latino Arts; Charlotte Latin Dance, sharing a passion for dance and self-expression; and Rumbao Latin Dance Company, explosive creative dance that energizes.
Enjoy this time of diversity, culture and art with people who want to move with DJ and live Afro-Cuban and Latin-influenced rhythms to salsa, Bachata, merengue, and cha cha, as well as view visual art by diverse local artists. (Light snacks with cash bar.)
