Young artists and their adult companions investigate art in a museum gallery, explore fun new art techniques in the classroom, and take home a unique creation. Juice will be served.

Fine Feathered Friends| October 23
Let’s search for pictures of birds in the museum galleries, and paint, cut and paste together our own “tweet” little songbird and birdcage.
Stamp, Roll, Repeat! |November 20
Look for shapes and patterns in traditional Maya weavings, touch real natural fibers and weaving tools, and paint and stamp a colorful Mexican pattern painting.
My Treasure Box|December 11
See sparkling silver and gleaming gold Spanish Colonial artifacts, and use lots of nifty, shiny materials to craft a beautiful mosaic box to take home.
Chinese Blossoms| January 22
We’ll take an imaginative journey to China, see ancient ceramic teapots, and use paint and collage to create a beautiful Chinese fan.
