In 2005, Desmond Shawe-Taylor was appointed Surveyor of The Queen’s Pictures. He has written extensively on English 18th-century portraiture and curated exhibitions at The Queen’s Galleries in Edinburgh and London, most recently The First Georgians, devoted to the reigns of George I and George II and planned to celebrate the tercentenary of the arrival of the Hanoverian dynasty in 1714. Payment (minus a 20% administration fee) will be refunded, only if the cancellation is submitted to the museum five business days prior to the first class or day of the event/program. Due to limited space, a spot cannot be held without full payment.
