MINI-MASTERS ART WORKSHOPS
Little artists age 3-5 and their adult companions explore the museum galleries and create art in this playful class series centered on creativity, fine-motor skill development, and confidence-building!

September 24 | Elephants, Turtles, and Snakes, oh my!
Let’s talk texture as we look for animal sculptures in the N.C. Pottery exhibition, then play with texture rubbings and paint to create our own touchable critter!
October 22 | Pattern Play
It’s stamping time! We’ll stamp, roll, and repeat to create fun patterns with paint, and explore how the ancient Americans played with patterns to decorate their amazing art.
November 19 | Little Leonardos
Let’s search for primary colors in Renaissance-era paintings, and experiment with red, yellow, and blue paints to create paintings with pizazz!
December 10 | Treasure Hunt
We’ll roam the museum in search of all that glitters, see real gold coins from the original Charlotte Mint, and use gleaming gold and gems to adorn a box to house our own precious treasures.
